Jeff has been around boats of every description from childhood; he is a confirmed and incurable boater. After a pre-law curriculum in college, Jeff decided that the world had enough attorneys without a strong business background, so rather than enrolling in law school, he set out to gain a "few years" of business experience. A "few years" turned into ten years working as a yacht broker in South Florida for some of the most well respected firms.
Jeff loved the yachting industry, but for years he could not justify leaving yacht brokerage to study law. As Jeff became more familiar with larger yachts, he began to recognize an opportunity to combine his industry background with a carefully planned legal education. Jeff decided the world had an acute shortage of attorneys who understand the yachting industry and look at the world through the eyes of a pragmatic, solutions oriented, businessman.
Jeff enrolled at the University Of Miami School of Law because of its ideal geographic location, and, because it is arguably one of the premier law schools with respect to international and maritime law. During and following law school, Jeff had the honor of working and being trained at one of the oldest and most well respected law firms in South Florida- Alley, Maass, Rogers, & Lindsay, P.A. After a few years engrossed in the legal world, Jeff started his own practice and has remained committed to serving his clients ever since.
You will find Jeff in the ocean fishing or in the woods hunting when he is able to find time out of the office. Jeff has a beautiful wife, Sarah, and two beautiful children, Riley and Lindsay.
